1982 Texas Bluebonnet Award

Texas students in grades three through six picked Superfudge by Judy Blume as the 1982 Texas Bluebonnet Award winner. Their vote closed out the 1981–1982 reading year, when young readers across the state worked through a master list of 20 books selected by a Texas Library Association committee. That list also featured A Little Destiny, Banana Twist and Beloved Benjamin Is Waiting. The winner and every other nominee from the 1981–1982 list are collected here.
