2025 Hugo Awards

The 2025 Hugo Awards were presented on August 16, 2025, at Seattle Worldcon 2025 in Seattle, Washington. The Hugos are chosen by members of the World Science Fiction Convention, and this page follows three of the book categories.

Robert Jackson Bennett won Best Novel for The Tainted Cup. Ray Nayler took Best Novella for The Tusks of Extinction, and Best Graphic Story or Comic went to Star Trek: Lower Decks: Warp Your Own Way, written by Ryan North with art by Chris Fenoglio. Each category had six finalists, for eighteen works in all. Adrian Tchaikovsky appeared twice on the novel ballot, with Alien Clay and Service Model, and T. Kingfisher was a finalist in both the novel and novella categories.
