About the book

Star Trek: Lower Decks: Warp Your Own Way is an interactive graphic novel written by Ryan North and drawn by Chris Fenoglio, based on the animated Star Trek series about the junior officers of the USS Cerritos. Ensign Mariner's day begins with a simple choice of drink, but every choice seems to lead to a different disaster, from Borg attacks to Romulan ambushes, and the ship keeps getting destroyed before the day starts over again. Readers choose which paths to follow, jumping between pages to explore different outcomes and spotting clues and inconsistencies that Mariner and her friends cannot see. Getting the crew out of the loop takes careful reading and a lot of experimenting. The book won the 2025 Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story or Comic.
