1986 Texas Bluebonnet Award

The 1986 Texas Bluebonnet Award went to The Dollhouse Murders by Betty Ren Wright. The Texas Library Association program asks students in grades three through six to read from a master list and then vote for a favorite, and the book with the most votes statewide wins. The 1985–1986 list held 20 titles, including A Medieval Feast, A Paradise Called Texas and Bony-Legs. Every book on the list is counted as a Bluebonnet nominee for that year, and this page gathers the winner together with the rest of the list.
