2018 Texas Bluebonnet Award

The 2018 Texas Bluebonnet Award went to The Last Kids on Earth by Max Brallier, the first book in a funny, illustrated middle-grade series about a boy and his friends surviving after monsters overrun their town. As in every year of the program, Texas students in grades three through six chose the winner by voting after reading books from that year's Bluebonnet list. The Texas Library Association, which administers the award, lists the book among its past winners. The award has been given each year since 1981. Only the winning title is listed here for this year.
