2017 Texas Bluebonnet Award

Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson won the 2017 Texas Bluebonnet Award, chosen by the votes of Texas children in grades three through six. Students spent the 2016–2017 school year reading from a master list that a Texas Library Association committee had put together, 20 books in all, and then cast ballots for the one they liked best. Other titles on that year's list included A Fine Dessert, A Handful of Stars and Circus Mirandus. All of them appear below as nominees alongside the winner.
