2012 Texas Bluebonnet Award

Texas students in grades three through six picked The Strange Case of the Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger as the 2012 Texas Bluebonnet Award winner. Their vote closed out the 2011–2012 reading year, when young readers across the state worked through a master list of 20 books selected by a Texas Library Association committee. That list also featured Amazing Faces, Balarama and Black Elk’s Vision. The winner and every other nominee from the 2011–2012 list are collected here.
