Award year

1992 Texas Bluebonnet Award

The 1992 Texas Bluebonnet Award went to Snot Stew by Bill Wallace. The Texas Library Association program asks students in grades three through six to read from a master list and then vote for a favorite, and the book with the most votes statewide wins. The 1991–1992 list held 20 titles, including The American Family Farm, Bingo Brown and the Language of Love and The Diane Goode Book of American Folk Tales and Songs. Every book on the list is counted as a Bluebonnet nominee for that year, and this page gathers the winner together with the rest of the list.
