Best Graphic Novels Books for 9th Grade

Graphic novels for ninth graders, ages fourteen and fifteen, include both memoir and fiction on this page. Dan Nott's Hidden Systems explores how water, electricity and the internet really work, and March: Book Three, by John Lewis with Andrew Aydin and Nate Powell, follows the voting rights campaign that led to Selma. Molly Knox Ostertag's The Deep Dark, a Printz honor book, adds a story of secrets and the supernatural, while Mexikid and A First Time for Everything offer two very different coming-of-age memoirs.
