2014 Texas Bluebonnet Award

Ten Rules You Absolutely Must Not Break If You Want to Survive the School Bus by John Grandits won the 2014 Texas Bluebonnet Award, chosen by the votes of Texas children in grades three through six. Students spent the 2013–2014 school year reading from a master list that a Texas Library Association committee had put together, 20 books in all, and then cast ballots for the one they liked best. Other titles on that year's list included Bake Sale, Balloons Over Broadway and Barnum's Bones. All of them appear below as nominees alongside the winner.
