2009 Texas Bluebonnet Award

Texas students in grades three through six picked One Potato, Two Potato by Cynthia DeFelice as the 2009 Texas Bluebonnet Award winner. Their vote closed out the 2008–2009 reading year, when young readers across the state worked through a master list of 20 books selected by a Texas Library Association committee. That list also featured Atherton, Crossing Bok Chitto and Gabriel's Horses. The winner and every other nominee from the 2008–2009 list are collected here.
