2001 Texas Bluebonnet Award

The 2001 Texas Bluebonnet Award went to Cook-A-Doodle-Doo! by Janet Stevens and Susan Stevens Crummel. The Texas Library Association program asks students in grades three through six to read from a master list and then vote for a favorite, and the book with the most votes statewide wins. The 2000–2001 list held 20 titles, including 26 Fairmount Avenue, An Outlaw Thanksgiving and Flying Solo. Every book on the list is counted as a Bluebonnet nominee for that year, and this page gathers the winner together with the rest of the list.
