Award year

1994 Texas Bluebonnet Award

Texas students in grades three through six picked Shiloh by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor as the 1994 Texas Bluebonnet Award winner. Their vote closed out the 1993–1994 reading year, when young readers across the state worked through a master list of 20 books selected by a Texas Library Association committee. That list also featured A Ghost in the House, Bard of Avon and Chicken Sunday. The winner and every other nominee from the 1993–1994 list are collected here.
