Tana Ford

Tana Ford is an American comics artist whose work spans superhero comics, licensed series and original graphic novels, for publishers including Marvel, Dark Horse, Vertigo and IDW. She is perhaps best known for drawing Marvel's Silk, and she has also illustrated The Amazing Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, New Warriors, Gwenpool, Star Trek and Jem and the Holograms.

Her long partnership with writer Nnedi Okorafor began on Marvel's Black Panther: Long Live the King, which was a Hugo Award finalist. The two then made LaGuardia, a graphic novel that won a Hugo Award in 2020, and The Space Cat (2025), a bright, cosmic adventure about a pampered house cat who secretly flies a spaceship and must protect his new hometown in Nigeria from invaders. The Space Cat was also a Hugo finalist.
