The Fable of Erkling Woods

"In an old country, near an old village, lies and even older forest. Should you venture there you might come across a talking fox or some other strange folk, and be regaled with tales of the many heroes, gods, and monsters that have made their home here since time began. But even the denizens of the wood will speak only in whispers of the devil whose name it bears. He of cloven hoof and oak-gnarled antler. The lord of the forest, the granter of wishes, the stealer of souls: The Erlking." -- Page [4] of cover.
