Postscripts #28/#29: Exotic Gothic 4,

The fourth Exotic Gothic anthology, issued by PS Publishing as a double number of its Postscripts series, gathers twenty-five new stories that move the Gothic tradition well beyond its familiar castles and fog-bound English estates. Editor Danel Olson invited writers from many countries, among them Margo Lanagan, Adam L. G. Nevill, Brian Evenson, Reggie Oliver, Robert Hood, Lucy Taylor and Tunku Halim, to set their tales of dread, obsession and haunting in places rarely linked with the form. Olson opens the book with a preface on the series and its aims. The volume won both the World Fantasy Award and the Shirley Jackson Award for best anthology, and several of its stories went on to appear in later best-of collections.
