Ghost-Spider, Vol. 1: Dog Days Are Over

Ghost-Spider, Vol. 1: Dog Days Are Over is a superhero comic written by Seanan McGuire and drawn by Takeshi Miyazawa and Rosi Kämpe, collecting issues 1 to 5 of the 2019 series. Gwen Stacy, who was known as Spider-Woman on her home world, Earth-65, has taken on the new name Ghost-Spider and is now splitting her life between two realities. In the main Marvel universe she starts classes at Empire State University and tries to settle into student life, while back home she still has a city to protect. Balancing homework, heroics and constant travel between dimensions becomes even harder when a villain with plans for Gwen begins crossing between worlds too. The volume mixes action, humor and the everyday pressures of being a college freshman. It was a 2021 Hugo Award finalist for Best Graphic Story or Comic.
