All We Thought We Knew
Winner · Book of the Year

Award
The Christy Award honors excellence in Christian fiction and the power of stories to carry truth. It was founded in 1999 by a group of about a dozen Christian publishers and takes its name from Christy, the best-known novel by Catherine Marshall. The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association took over ownership and administration of the award in 2016 and runs it under license from the holder of the Christy name.
The award recognizes novels across several genres of Christian fiction, with finalists and winners named in each category, and its judging is separate from ECPA's Christian Book Awards, which no longer include a fiction category. The winners are announced each November at the Christy Award Gala, held alongside an Art of Writing program for authors.
Novels written from a Christian perspective and entered by their publishers are considered across several fiction genres.
Usually announced in November.
